Compliance & trust

The disclosures, in plain English.

Real estate is a regulated profession, and most disclosure pages are written for the regulator, not for you. This page is the opposite: who we are, who licenses us, how we communicate, and what happens to your information — spelled out so you can decide whether to call us.

01 · Brokerage of record

Who actually licenses us.

The Baez Collective is a real estate team affiliated with eXp Realty, LLC, a Florida-licensed real estate broker. Every transaction we handle is brokered through eXp; we are not an independent brokerage.

Freddy Baez holds a Florida Real Estate Broker license issued by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. You can verify it independently:

Additional team members operate under the same brokerage. We publish their license numbers on the Meet the Team page as they come online.

02 · Fair Housing

Equal housing, full stop.

We comply with the federal Fair Housing Act and Florida Fair Housing Act. We do not, and will not, discriminate against any buyer, seller, tenant, or applicant on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, familial status, disability, age, marital status, or any other class protected under federal, state, or local law.

If you believe a real estate professional — including us — has treated you unfairly, you have the right to file a complaint:

03 · Communications

How we contact you.

When you submit a form on this site or text our number, you are consenting to be contacted by The Baez Collective LLC about your inquiry — by phone, email, or text. You are never signing up for marketing blasts; the consent applies to the conversation you started.

  • Opt out at any time — reply STOP to any text and we'll stop. Reply HELP if you need assistance.
  • Message frequency varies and depends on your conversation. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
  • No selling your number. We do not share your phone number or email with third parties for their own marketing.
  • When we call you back — usually within a few business hours during the week, the next business day if your message lands evenings or weekends. We answer our own phones.

04 · Data handling

What happens to your information.

The form data you send us is used to answer your question and support the transaction we're working on together — that's it. We retain it for the working life of the relationship plus the period required by Florida real estate recordkeeping rules, then it's archived or destroyed.

The full data-handling policy — including categories of data, third-party processors (analytics, email, hosting), and your rights to request, correct, or delete your data — is published in the Privacy Policy. If you want a record removed, email info@thebaezcollective.com with the subject line Data deletion request and we will confirm within 7 business days.

If something feels off

Talk to us first.

Before filing anything formal, call or email. We have never lost a client to a complaint that could not be fixed by picking up the phone. If we get it wrong — and we do, occasionally — we want the chance to make it right.

State-level real estate complaint: file with the Florida DBPR.
